“Just as it is often difficult to tell if a mushroom is edible, it is often very difficult to recognize the Jew as a rogue and criminal.
A mother and her young boy pick mushrooms in the German forest. The boy finds some that are poisonous. The mother explains that some mushrooms are edible but others are poisonous and, as they return home, she says:
- Look, Franz; human beings in this world are like mushrooms in the forest. There are good mushrooms and there good people. There are bad mushrooms that are poisonous and there are bad people. And we must be on our guard against these bad people just as we are against poisonous muchrooms. Do you understand that?
- Yes, Mother, replies Franz. I understand that by associating with bad people, problems arise, just like when you eat a poisonous mushroom. You could even die!
- And do you know, also, who these bad men are, these poisonous mushrooms of mankind? Continues the mother.
Franz slaps his chest with pride: Of course I know, Mother! These are the Jews! Our teacher has often told us about them.
The mother praises her boy for his intelligence and continues by explaining the different types of poisonous Jews: the Jew peddler, the Jewish cattle merchant, the kosher butcher, the Jewish doctor, the baptized Jew, and so on.
Sometimes they disguise themselves and try to appear friendly, affirming a thousand times their good intentions towards us. They are Jews and Jews they remain. For our people, they are poison.
- Similar to a poisonous mushroom! Franz said.
- Yes, my child! Just as a single poisonous mushroom can kill an entire family, a solitary Jew can destroy a whole village, a whole city, even an entire people.
Franz understood.
- Tell me, mother: Do all non-Jews know that the Jew is a dangerous and poisonous mushroom?
The mother shakes her head.
- Unfortunately not, my child. There are millions of non-Jews who ignore the danger of Jews. We need to enlighten people and warn them about the Jews. Our young people, too, must be told. Our boys and girls need to learn about the Jew. They must learn that the Jew is the most dangerous poisonous mushroom in life. Just like the poisonous mushrooms that grow everywhere, the Jew is in every country. Just as poisonous mushrooms often lead to the most terrible calamity, the Jew is the cause of misery and suffering, disease and death.”
