Life in the ghettos :


3 a. Carefully examine the map of the ghettos and camps to identify the locations of the ghettos in Europe.


3 b. Analyze the photographic evidence from Photo A and Photo B in order to understand the conditions in the ghettos.

Life in the concentration and death camps:

4 c. Read the document entitled The Poisonous Mushroom. By targeting this book at children, what was the publisher’s intended purpose?


4 d. Watch the audio-visual sources Hitler before the Reichstag and the Speech of Julius Streicher. What message do these two men send to the German people? What do they present as a condition for peace in the world?
